Set up or Log in to Google Search Console:
If you don't already have a Google Search Console account, go to and sign in with your Google account.
If you already have an account, log in.
Add a Property:
Once you're logged in, click on the "Add Property" button.
Enter Your Domain:
In the "URL prefix" field, enter your domain (e.g., ).
Click the "Continue" button.
Google will attempt to verify your property automatically.
Get the HTML Tag:
Locate the "HTML tag" option and click on it to expand.
Copy the Meta Tag
You will see an HTML meta tag code snippet that looks like this:
Copy the entire <meta>
tag, including the content attribute value, but exclude the quotes.
Save the Verification Code:
Paste the copied meta tag into a text editor like Notepad or a word processor.
Copy the Content Attribute Value:
Inside the copied meta tag, you will see a string of characters in the content
attribute, like your-verification-code
. Copy this string of characters without the quotes.
Add Verification to Breedpost:
Log in to your Breedpost account.
Access Google Site Verification Settings in Breedpost:
Navigate to your Breedpost dashboard and find the "Settings" section.
Integrations:
In the "Settings," look for the "Integrations" where you can manage third-party integrations.
Google Site Verification:
Within the integrations section, find the option for "Google Site Verification".
Paste the Verification Code:
In the Google Site Verification settings of Breedpost, you will find a field to paste the verification code.
Save Changes:
After pasting the code, save your changes. Breedpost should now have the Google Site Verification code associated with your website.
Verify in Google Search Console:
Go back to Google Search Console and click the "Verify" button to complete the verification process.
Once these steps are completed, Google Site Verification should be successfully set up for your Breedpost website, and you'll have access to the additional features and data available through Google Search Console for your domain.
