Navigation Structure

The navigation structure in Breedpost is designed for flexibility, allowing you to organize your website's pages into a clear, user-friendly menu.

Key Concepts

  • Sections Collection: These are the main categories of your navigation, such as Home, About, Our Dogs, Blog, or Contact Us. Each section can be:

    • Single: A direct link to one page.

    • Multiple: A dropdown menu with several related pages.

  • Pages Collection: Create and manage your website’s pages. These pages are then added to sections, but they won’t automatically appear in the menu.

  • Settings Collection: Arrange and reorder your sections, ensuring your navigation is clear and logical. You can also add features like CTA buttons to sections, enhancing user interaction.

Example Navigation Setup

  • Home: Direct link to your homepage.

  • Our Dogs (Dropdown): Contains links to pages for different breeds or categories (e.g., Our Pugs, Our Corgis).

  • Blog: Direct link to your blog page.

  • Contact Us: A single section with a CTA button for easy access.

This setup gives you full control over your website’s navigation, making it easy to organize and display your content.

⚡️ Tip: You can adjust your navigation structure at any time through your Settings collection, making it easy to update your menu as your site grows.
