Dashboard Overview
This guide will help you navigate the Breedpost interface, built on Directus, to efficiently manage your breeder website. Understanding the dashboard layout and features will enable you to make the most of Breedpost’s powerful tools for website management, content organization, and user engagement.

Key Components of Your Dashboard
Each section below corresponds to a numbered area on the dashboard image for clarity.
1. Module Bar
The leftmost section of the Breedpost interface is the Module Bar, which includes:
Breedpost Logo: Displays the Breedpost logo.
Module Navigation: Navigate between different modules accessible to you. The default modules include:
Content: The main area to view and interact with your website content.
User Directory: A section where you can view your profile.
File Library: A collection of all your uploaded and managed files within the platform.
Documentation: Access guides and reference material for using Breedpost.
Ticket Request: Submit support tickets.
Notifications: Opens a drawer of notifications, such as mentions and updates.
Current User Menu: Displays your user name and avatar. Hovering over it reveals the option to log out of the platform.
2. Navigation Bar
The Navigation Bar provides quick access to your website's collections and settings:
Home: Access your homepage.
Pages: Manage various pages on your site.
Individuals: Manage individual animals’ profiles.
Breedings: Document and manage breedings.
Articles: Create and manage blog posts and articles.
Sections: Organize your navigation structure.
Settings: Configure project and system settings.
Blocks: Expand to show all building blocks.
Data: Expand to show data categories like titles, coat types, and people.
3. Page
The Page section displays a list of items in the current collection (e.g., all your pages).
Clicking on an item allows you to view and update its content.
This feature enables easy management and editing of your website’s pages, ensuring that all content is up-to-date and accurately reflects your breeding program.
4. Sidebar
The Sidebar provides additional context and options for the current page. It includes:
Page Components: Lists any contextual components, like "Info," which explains the page's purpose and details.
Notifications Tray: Fixed at the bottom, this button opens a tray of recent notifications and links to your Activity Log page.
The Sidebar is automatically opened if the window is large enough and can be closed by clicking the "X" in the top-right.
